All About the Charlie

All About the Charlie

For the launch of our first sneaker, we set out to blend elevated construction with reliable comfort. Why buy a sneaker from a boot company? Craftsmanship and durability. In fact, The Charlie’s sidewall stitch construction has more in common with quality boot making than traditional sneaker production. Built using only the highest grade of premium hides inside and out, the leather upper contours to you for a custom fit and feel. Our rubber cupsole is light on its feet, sturdy in construction, and able to be resoled. Simply put, we designed a sneaker that will age as well as your best loved boots.

Sidewall Stitch Construction
Traditional sneakers are made by cementing the upper to the sole of the shoe (an inexpensive production process with less complex construction). The Charlie is sidewall stitched for increased integrity and enduring appeal.

Supple Leather Uppers
High-grade leather means less cracks over time. The Charlie will retain its shape and only get better looking wear after wear.

Renewable Style
Investing in craftsmanship means a hefty return on your cost per wear. HELM styles are made to be worn. Every style in our lineup is resoleable and constructed using vetted materials we trust.

Odor Resistant Lining
Cow leather is more odor resistant than other hide types. We never cut corners or select lesser-grade alternatives for our interior lining.
