The Pablo Brown
Simplicity is key in timeless design. Taking a solid classic and adding small touches to modernize is the goal. With that in mind, the influence for the Pablo comes from an Italian moto boot and a more European-influenced zipper boot. The Fineline sole adds traction to the leather bottom while keeping a slimmer profile and well-fitting upper, making the Pablo boot a special wear as much as daily hero on the street. Runs large. We recommend sizing down 1/2 size. Also available in Black.

What's In A Name
This boot is named for our founder's dear friend since they were teenagers, Paul, whom he calls “Pablo.” Paul is a man who stands true to his dedications. Whether it be his faith, his family, or his work, he is highly disciplined and deeply devoted and has always chosen the higher road. We need more Pablos in this world.

These boots were initially somewhat tight around my ankles when zipped up. After a fair bit of walking around, they've softened up in the right places. They look sharp and are built to last. My only pair of boots with a zipper; fun for a change of pace.

At first, the leather was quite stiff. I experienced some rubbing on my ankles during an initial walk with my pup. Over time, the leather has started breaking in and becoming more comfortable. Everything about the boots bespeaks quality, from the leather to the stitching to the zipper. I'm quite happy with them.

I wear a size 11.5 shoe. With other boots I wear a 11 in normal width so I ordered them in that size. Too big, had a lot of room in the heel. The return service was excellent, and got a 10.5 instead. My foot fit but was tight around the toes so I returned for a refund (excellent service in that department. Getting the right fit was a challenge. However, the heel was comfortable and padded; more so compared to most other boots I own. The zipper was solid quality, and the leather was nice - creased easily, but nice. Overall, This just wasn’t the boot for me.

Bought the Pablo Browns in-store at HELM’s Austin flagship. Jillian was truly helpful with fit and sizing. I normally wear a 10.5D (as I do in the Lou’s) but found the 9.5 EE to be the best fit for me in the Pablos. I found a shoe horn to be really helpful. I also immediately treated them with Otter Wax Boot Salve to help with break-in; and found that only after two days of house-wear, they are easier to get on. I suspect that will only improve. The leather is exquisite and the profile is perfection. My new favorite boot!
