Welden - Limited Edition
The Welden is a fresh approach to a classic hiking boot. The base design and pattern is a nod to the traditional, as the Horween suede upper trimmed with deer skin creates a new genre of its own. The padded collar and full rubber 430 mini-lug sole gives respect to the trail while also giving it the spirit of street and style.

What's In A Name
From his huge red beard to his big heart, there’s only one Taylor Welden. Taylor is known for his expertise in research and design of bags, apparel, materials, watches, and all sorts of travel gadgets he uses for his extensive domestic and international travels. Not to mention his culinary adventures. He started rambling around the old HELM offices years ago, trying on and ultimately purchasing boots from us. Through the years, he became a friend of the HELM family and a natural and passionate ambassador for our brand. The Welden is inspired by the man himself, and we worked hard to include his sense of awareness in classic style, blended with a rugged wearability, and a dash of wanderlust.

The fit was as close to some handmade custom boots i have worn as one could imagine. The color was breathtaking if youre into that type of thing . (and i am) I find something new to like about this boot with every wear. Thanks again .
When Taylor Welden told me that Helm was going to be releasing a pair of boots in his honor the night before their release date, cause he held it a secret until the very end, I knew I had to buy a pair. Taylor is a great personal friend of mine that I've known for over 10 plus years, and it was almost inevitable that I own a pair of boots named in his honor. The boots are very comfortable, very grandeur in look, and needed little to no breaking in once I put them on. I value these boots a lot so I have actually not worn them a whole lot, other than to special occasions like NYE, and a friends birthday party. At both events I got nothing but compliments on how great they looked. I'm very happy that I got a pair of these limited edition Welden boots. Great job Helm!
