A Special NYC Edition of the Saturday Six

One of our favorite people to catch up with when she comes to Austin, Diana Bianchini is the Founder and President of Di Moda Public Relations. Incredibly driven and hard-working, her passion is contagious and we can't help but get a buzz of motivation from being around her. With amazing stories about cities from all over the world, she's a perfect choice for a guest writer in the Saturday Six, so we're excited to feature her here. Read on for her favorite spots in the Big Apple.

"For a decade I lived the bi-coastal PR gal life. NY-LA-NY-LA-NY, and back then I lived in West Village, my absolute favorite neighborhood. These days, I get to New York as much as I can because it has a way of making me feel alive, energized and exhausted, all at once. New York has my heart like no other city in the world. Some of the best nights of my life have been spent in this magical metropolis, and it has given me the biggest deals and challenges of my career. I owe so much to this city and yet it still keeps giving back to me. New York is alive and well - as sexy and inviting as ever. Here are my faves for a good time."

Ada's Place at Legacy Records

"New York is one of the craft cocktail capitals of the world. Ada’s Place creates the most delicious cocktails and is walk-in only. Enter through Legacy Records and slink up the stairs to a magical heaven where design meets chic and chic meets drinks."

Greenwich Letterpress

"Can we bring writing love letters back? Greenwich Letter Press is the best place to find little hostess gifts, name cards for a spontaneous NY dinner party, gorgeous holiday greetings, memorable thank yous, and more. A small neighborhood spot that's worth the stop."

The Marlton Hotel | Greenwich Village

"I almost didn't want to share this pick because I'm worried about letting my secret out. Once a colleague after check in said to me, “This place is so special, I feel like I'm a character in a movie." The team gives such attention to detail and service, and it's walking distance from Washington Square Park, in the thick of all the fun. Their hotel bar is the perfect place for a date or drinks with friends. They have a full restaurant with all day dining, and the lobby is a lounge that comes alive at night with all the cool kids. Great people watching."

Celebrate the Whitney Biennial | April 6th - Sept 5th

"The Whitney is celebrating it’s Biennial! I love their exhibits, performances, and their location on the water. Spend your afternoon at the museum for their eightieth of this landmark event."

The Tina Turner Musical

"What’s New York without Broadway? Going to a show with friends is one of my favorite things to do, and this one is at the top of my list as a must-see this summer!"
