SHOP | Proraso USA

We first heard about Proraso from Woody Lovell, and as our go-to for style advice we were eager to check them out. For over 100 years, they've been an innovating and a trend-setting in the world of mens care, used by barbers and home-shavers alike. They're constantly working to improve on their already trusted ingredients to make sure they're consistently growing and striving for the best. With shaving products, fragrances, kits and gift sets, you can even shop according to skin sensitivity or thickness of your hair, making it even easier to find the right product to make you feel good and leave the house looking great.

WATCH | The Father

This is one that will stay with you long after the closing credits - a heart-wrenching portrayal of dementia that places you in the shoes of the main character (played by Anthony Hopkins) as he watches the world around him shift and change in unexplainable ways. Beautifully executed and at times painful to experience, it shows us a side of aging that we often aren't faced with, as we view this debilitating disease from the inside out and the frustrations of trying to explain confusion. It offers a unique perspective that had a lasting impact in a truly meaningful way.

EAT | Bufalina

While we wait for Bufalina on Cesar Chavez to relocate, we're relieved that we don't have to go without our favorite Neapolitan pizza here in Austin. With a location on Burnet Rd., you can still enjoy their delicious pies for takeout or patio seating. We could list of some of our favorites, but it would really just be us reciting the entire menu, so instead we'll suggest that you check it out for yourself. You're sure to love anything that comes to your table.

FOLLOW | @dusttodigital

For over twenty years, Dust-to-Digital has been bringing rare music to the forefront, ensuring hard-to-find recordings are easily accessible. They even took it one step further and created Music Memory to provide these valuable tracks to teachers and researchers, allowing them to educate and secure the continuation of over 50,000 recordings. You can explore their archive of music through their Instagram or even head over to their website for a more immersive experience. It's well worth the deep dive.

DRINK | Ro Sham Beaux

With such a wide array of wines out there, it's easy to be overwhelmed and get lost in the parade of labels, regions, tastes, etcetera. That's when a helpful and friendly wine guide comes in handy. Ro Sham Beaux out of Sacramento, CA, is staffed by knowledgable people who can steer you towards the best bottle for yourself or that dinner guest you're expecting, whether you know what you're looking for or are going in unprepared. They have an amazing selection of natural wines, and with curbside pickup or the opportunity to join their wine club (ranging from 1 to 6 bottles a month), they make it even easier to find what you're looking for an possibly discover a brand new favorite.

VOLUNTEER | Volunteering Untapped ATX

Meeting new people comes with the perk of making a positive impact in the community when it comes to VUATX. They provide opportunities to volunteer through different non-profit programs and meet fellow philanthropists in the city, coming together on the second Saturday of every month for a new cause. In May you can take part in their "Park Cleanup" event and enjoy a socially distanced happy hour afterward to celebrate the day and some brand new connections. Check in monthly to see how you can help out and subscribe to their newsletter to stay up to date.
