EAT | Fat Cats
A recent birthday introduced us to Fat Cats here in Austin, and we’re already checking the calendar for our next excuse to celebrate. We had their Espresso Blackberry Cake (a must-try), and you can order their pies, donuts, pastries and other cakes for any occasion. With options like Italian Cream Cake with pecans and coconut or Vanilla Buttercream with your choice of frosting from peanut butter to lemon to mocha, we either hope we know a lot of Scorpios who love cake, or at the very least just some pastry lovers.

We knew from the trailer that this would be an emotional show. We didn’t realize that it would be so binge-worthy. Even in its most awkward, frustrating and heartbreaking moments we couldn't stop watching, with Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac putting on such an amazing performance, it makes you lean in as you wait for the next scene. We definitely suggest watching the extras after each show to hear their take on the episode and what they saw their characters going through right along with you.

We try to make a habit of stopping by early in the morning since the amazing staff is sure to help make it start off on a great note.

MAKE | Holiday Mule Drink Recipe
We’ve been looking for ways to transition our favorite drinks to their holiday versions and this one was the quickest and easiest switch we’ve made. For those of you who like it a little bit sweet, you can add a dash of simple syrup or switch out the bite of ginger beer for the softer version of ginger ale. Cheers!
1 1/2 ounce vodka
1/2 cup ginger beer
1/4 cup cranberry juice
1/2 ounce lime juice
Put it all together and stir. It's that easy. Add ice, lemon wedges, mint...any garnish works well with this one.
