DRINK | The Bang Bang Bar

Named after the bar in Twin Peaks, Bang Bang Bar in San Antonio is self-described as “ vintage dive-bar heaven.“ Boldly patterned rugs, velvet couches, vinyl playing over the speakers; the inviting and inclusive vibe of this spot made it an immediate favorite. From their incredibly friendly staff to their delicious cocktails (try the mint cucumber Mojito) to their delicious pizza made in-house, stop by with friends and it will soon become a favorite hang out.

SHOP | American Drifter Vintage

Lovers of western wear or just lovers of vintage in general, American Drifter on South 1st here in Austin is a must. Beautiful leather bags, clothing for men and women, turquoise rings galore, and locally made goods - it’s all there. We think the best way to experience them is stopping by in person, but if you're outside of Austin then you can still check out their Etsy or Instagram to see all that they have to offer.

CAFFEINATE | Dyad Coffee

Charlotte, NC - please tell us you know about this one already. Located on Rozzelles Ferry Rd, Dyad is a walk up window serving amazing coffee that can be conveniently ordered ahead to get through your morning quickly and caffeinated. Carrying Austin’s own Figure 8 beans, they also serve up tea and make their flavored syrups in house. Beet Root, Spearmint, and Vanilla Charcoal lattes all sit alongside your tried-and-true favorites on their menu, so stop by and get yourself a cup.

DOWNLOAD | FitOn

We’ve found that typically a great workout app isn’t free, with the best perks requiring an upgrade at some point. We were a bit skeptical at first when we got FitOn, but after trying it for a few months it’s become an almost daily app we use. Yes, there are features for Premium Members like meal plans and downloadable offline workouts, but the amount of things you get without upgrading makes it well worth it. More classes than we can count taught by instructors you’ll definitely recognize, challenges to motivate you, and tips and tools for building healthy habits. We set up our personal goals when we first signed up and it still has us looking forward to logging in and achieving them every week. That to us is a win.

ORDER | Orobianco

We tried this one out at Wild World Festival a few weekends ago and we can say that we are quick converts to the idea of a water buffalo creamery. Orobianco‘s buffalo are all grass-fed with no hormones or antibiotics, for dairy products that contain more nutrients and butterfat than your typical cows milk. We sampled their Ladybird and Bluebonnet cheese (which you can order online) and couldn’t help but try the gelato (you can snag one of these at their shop in Blanco). They are one of our favorite choices for an upgraded addition to a charcuterie board or as a perfect summer snack.
