What's In A Name
The Lou is named after our friend and acclaimed chef, Lou Lambert, who not unlike this boot is classic, hard-working and able to make just about anything happen. Generous and sincere, Lou loves to help people, and we felt this style was perfect to be named for him.

I got my first pair of Helm boots with the Cyber Monday sale and am very impressed so far. They are cool looking, well made and most importantly super comfortable. The break in period was about 12 hour of wear. I plan to buy more from Helm.

Awesome boots , true to size, plan on a break in period , used Leather and Rich to soften and loosen the leather. I highly recommend these boots if you are on your feet for extended periods.

I've always wanted to own a nice pair of boots. Problem is that all the boots I've tried in the past where either tight, uncomfortable, or incredibly stiff. These boots have a golden ratio. They look good, they're high quality, and best thing of all...they feel like sneakers! Absolutely amazing. I bought size 8 in wide (EE) toe size. Perfect. I always recommend you go in person to try on any kind of shoe. If you're in the Austin area check out the store. They're very helpful. A++
