Holiday Shipping Deadlines
We ship our inventory from DFW Airport. Here are our shipping deadline recommendations for 2023:
Standard shipping: We recommend you place your order no later than 12/19, but that also depends on how far away you are. Using the map below, if the delivery destination is in the two-day radius, the customer could wait until Wednesday 12/20 on standard shipping.
Expedited Shipping (2nd Day Air / Next Day Air): These need to be placed by 12/20 in order to delivery by Friday 12/22. How each carrier treats the weekend before Christmas can vary, so it's best not to risk on betting an order will more through any networks on 12/23 & 12/24.
Holiday Shopping FAQs
Q: Will HELM have an extended return policy for the holiday shopping season?
A: You betcha! Our holiday shopping return and exchange policy will extend to February 1st, 2024 for those who received HELM as a gift that was purchased between 11/14/2023 and 12/31/2023.
Make sure to keep all original HELM packaging and to have your loved one try their new boots or shoes on indoors before deciding to keep them. We are unable to accept worn products for return or exchange.
Q: How do I know what size to get for my loved one?
A: Getting footwear sizing right can be tricky, especially when ordering online. It’s even tougher when you’re holiday shopping for someone else. Generally, first-time customers find they size down about a half-size in our products from other brands. If your loved one already owns HELM Footwear, check the size on the tongue of those and they should be the same size across the board. Q: Does HELM offer Gift Cards?
A: Yes! Unsure about what style to purchase, or what size to choose for someone when you're holiday shopping? Not a problem. We offer digital gift cards on the site. Click the product below. They are delivered by email to the email you place the order under and contain instructions on how to redeem.
Q: Favorite Stocking Stuffer?
A: No-brainer small gifts. We have a wide selection of belt options, made in the same leather as our core collection of footwear. Matching has never been this easy! Shoe Trees make the perfect add-on when gifting any pair of footwear. These cedar planks will help your loved ones leather footwear keep its shape, and will also help to draw out extra moisture when the footwear is not being worn. This is especially helpful during the colder, wetter months we find ourselves in during the Holiday season. Pigmented Polish, like the Pure Polish we offer, is one of our favorite conditioners to help shine and buff out marks and scratches. Be sure to select the polish color that best matches the color of HELMs that you own. Apply in a circular motion with our HELM shop rag, or an old, clean one you have at home. During holiday shopping, some of these things can run out of stock due to popularity. Act quick!
Q: I'm in Austin. Can I shop in person at the store?
We love to meet our customers in person, and will have a few open shop nights at our offices this holiday shopping season for you to come by! This is the perfect time for you to swing by and purchase a gift, or try on a pair to get your size right (So that you can slip your size to your Secret Santa). The two shop nights we will be open this holiday shopping season will be:
- Thursday, November 16th: 3pm - 6 pm
- Thursday, December 14th: 3pm - 6pm
